How far (and wide) they’ve come...
Honestly though, I think I do prefer the G20 styling to the F30. I sure hope the M3 actually gets a manual option.

Maybe this’ll be like the E90, they intentionally won’t get the styling right the first go around so they can “ fix” it during the LCI.

My F30 is already as big as an E39 5. Now they went even bigger.

I mean, it’s kind of the natural progression. Buyers always want more power, more features, more room. When the “small” model gets too big, they slot a smaller model underneath it (see 1-series, 2-series).

Always gotta save something for round 2...

Same. its a very well designed car. But i actually like the l ook of the F30 better. Besides the straight hood line. I’ve always liked how the grills and headlights connect.. I think it especially looks good in red.

I feel like the top pic is a perfect match for the sunglasses that will be worn by the driver.

Haha - I see it!

Except they went FWD in the process... sigh.
I’ve been dreaming from day 1 for a liftback 2-series Gran Coupe that is RWD and manual. Perfect car for me.

I’m on the other side of the spectrum and actually want mine with the 18i 3-cylinder engine, lol. My short non-highway drives call for a smaller engine.

Lightweight + slow car fast = fun
I drove an ‘05 Mazda 3s hatch for 7 years.
